Maura Phelan, Uisce Éireann Water Operations Manager, has thanked affected customers for their cooperation during these repair works.
“We understand how disruptive unplanned outages are, and we regret the inconvenience caused. We want to thank impacted customers for their patience while we work to restore the water supply as quickly as possible, though the repairs are proving to be quite complex."
To ensure the safety of the crews carrying out the repairs to the burst and the safety of the public, traffic management is in place and will be clearly signposted and approach routes.
