All vehicle drivers asked 'to please park with access for emergency services in mind'

A walker had fallen and injured their arm near Carey's Castle on the Waterford/Tipperary border. 

The South Eastern Mountain Rescue received a call on Sunday, August 17 just after 3:30pm to assist the National Ambulance Service in County Waterford.

NAS paramedics treated the injured walker on scene and they were transported out to the ambulance in the team's Land Rover.

SEMRA added: "We would ask all vehicle drivers to please park with access for emergency services in mind, you never know when access may be needed."
