Old bank in Waterford set for new lease of life as 'holiday style accommodation'
Waterford City and County Council has received funding to regenerate an old bank building into accommodation.
The council says it was "delighted" to be awarded grant aid under the Historic Towns Initiative from the Heritage Council recently.
"The funding is being used towards the regeneration of the historic Bank of Ireland building in Lismore. With window and roof repairs underway, this is the next instalment in an exciting project for the town of Lismore," the council said.

"The building, which has stood vacant for five years, is being brought back into use and being converted to holiday style accommodation to encourage more tourists to the beautiful heritage town," they added.
