Gardai say Ben has been found "safe and well" following the urgent missing person appeal
Gardai say a missing person appeal that was issued on Monday for a Waterford man has been stood down following a new development.
In an update issued on Monday evening, Gardai say that Ben Hanrahan has been found "safe and well" and that no further action is required.
The 24-year was reported missing from his home on Monday sparking an urgent appeal.

Amid concerns for his wellbeing, Gardai sought help from members of the public in locating Ben who was last seen on Monday, September 15.
While Gardai have now confirmed that Ben has been located, no further information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
A spokesperson for the Gardai has thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance with the appeal.
