A GoFundMe page has been set up for Waterford woman Nicole Morrissey who is currently battling stage 4 cancer.
The donations page was set up by Nicole's daughter Roisín who has said she wants the money to go towards making her mother's life a little bit brighter and easier. The page has already raised €1,721 out of €6,000 goal.

The message on the page reads:
"Hi everyone,
"I’m setting this up for my amazing mam, Nicola Morrissey , who is currently fighting stage 4 cancer. She has shown unbelievable strength through every treatment, every hospital visit, and every tough day—but right now, we just want to give her back a little comfort, dignity, and joy.
The goal of this fundraiser is simple: to make her days a bit brighter and easier. We’re hoping to get her a proper wheelchair/ mobility scooter so she can move around more freely, a beautiful wig to help her feel like herself again, and a few special things that she chooses—because she deserves to have whatever brings her happiness in this time.
"Anyone who knows my mam knows she’s the kindest, strongest, and most selfless person you could ever meet. She has always put others first, and now we want to put her first.

"Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards giving her comfort, independence, and little moments of joy. If you can’t donate, even just sharing this page would mean the world.
"Thank you so much for your kindness and support. From the bottom of my heart, I’m grateful. Yours sincerely, Roisin."
