Over 2,500 people are registered for this year's Solas Run and Walk for Life that will take place in two locations in Waterford this weekend.
The 10km route will return to Dungarvan's Greenway on Saturday October 11th before taking to the streets of Waterford City on Sunday, October 12th.
Both runs will begin at 10am.
The starting point for Saturday's run in Dungarvan is in Walton Park, while Sunday's kicks off on the Quay in Waterford City.
The popular 4km walk will also be available this year to both Waterford and Dungarvan, encouraging families to take part in tandem with the 10K routes.

"The Run and Walk for Life is the most action-packed and exciting weekend of the year for the Solas Cancer Support Centre. The Run and Walk for Life is our main fundraiser annually and funds our weekly support services," Tracy McDaid, Manager of the Solas Cancer Support Centre, said.
A virtual option for the event is also available with workplaces encouraged to 'Go Orange For Solas.'
The Solas Centre offers a number of services for people who are or have been affected by cancer, as well as their family members.
These services include complementary therapy, counselling, life coaching, acupuncture, wellness classes, support groups, and information sessions.
Over 8,900 one-to-one support sessions were delivered by Solas Cancer Support Centre in 2024.
Last year, the Run and Walk for Life event raised €185,000.
The registration fee to take part in the event is €25 per adult and €15 per child.
This fee includes a t-shirt and an event medal.
