Cars slipping on busy Waterford road following truck crash this morning

Guards are at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on the N25 leaving Dungarvan, Co. Waterford towards Windgap. 

The crash involved a truck and diesel has been spilled as a result, causing more drivers to slip on the road. 

No injuries have been reported at the moment. 

A Garda Spokesperson has said the road currently remains open but it is likely to be closed as it is posing a risk to drivers.

Local diversions will be put in place if this is the case.

Waterford City and County Fire Service and the Council are on the way to the scene. 

The truck that crashed is causing a blockage on the road, so drivers are being encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
