Planning permission is being sought for the development of a medical centre on the site of an old house in Waterford city.
The site, at an address of 99 Tramore Road, Waterford city, would be home to a health and well-being facility known as The Well Clinic.
The development would include internal refurbishment with internal layout rearrangements, as well as changes to parking and vehicular access.
Works on boundary treatment, landscaping and all associated site works and connections would also be carried out.
The ground floor would include a waiting room, a reception and a consultation room. Meanwhile, the first floor would house another two consultation rooms and a store area.

The proposed clinic would operate on an appointment-only basis, providing consultation services only, with a maximum of three staff members on site at any one time.
Patient visits would be short in duration and the intensity of use will remain modest. On-site parking would be provided primarily for patient use, including accessible and set-down provision.
Staff parking would be accommodated within an adjacent car park by agreement with the landowner.
The developers argue that, given the small scale and appointment-based nature of the clinic, the proposal will generate low levels of traffic.
The application was submitted by The Well Clinic on January 2. A decision by Waterford City and County Council is expected by February 26.
