'Heavy rain' expected all day in Waterford as Met Éireann issue yellow weather warning
"Heavy rain" is expected across Waterford today as Met Éireann has issued a yellow weather warning.
It came into place for three couties at 9 o'clock this morning and will expire at 9pm tonight.
It's affecting Waterford, Kerry and Cork, with "heavy" spells expected throughout the day.
There may be impacts such as localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions, Met Éireann has warned.

A second weather warning is in effect for Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, and Leitrim, and relates to wind.
"Strong and gusty" winds will prevail in the five counties from 12pm.
Met Éireann warns that trees and branches may fall as a result, and driving conditions could become difficult.

There is also a status yellow gale warning in place for the entire country, which is expected to expire at 3am on Saturday.
There will be a two hour period of no warning, but at 5am another yellow gale force one will come into effect, expiring at 2am on Sunday.
