A hot day is expected today (May 18) with top temperatures of between 15 and 19 degrees.
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts some patchy rain and drizzle developing through the afternoon with light to moderate west to southwest breezes.
Tonight will be dry in most areas with clear spells and just isolated light showers.
Any lingering rain in the east will clear early tonight, while a few patches of mist and fog will form in the light westerly breezes.
Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees.
