IRELAND WEATHER: Damp and windy weather expected today with widespread outbreaks of rain
Cloudy and rather damp with outbreaks of rain through much of the day. There will be fresh to strong winds in the east and southeast for a time this morning, but light to moderate south to southwest winds for the rest of the day.
Highest afternoon temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees, warmest in the southeast.
Widespread outbreaks of rain will continue through much of tonight and will be heavy at times.
By morning, the rain will become confined mainly to Leinster and Ulster with scattered showers following elsewhere.
It will become breezy with a moderate to fresh southwest to west wind developing, increasing strong and gusty in the southeast. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.
