A jury in New York has rejected E Jean Carroll’s rape claim against Donald Trump, but found him liable for battery over a 1996 attack.
Ms Carroll was awarded at least 2 million dollars (£1.5 million).
The verdict was announced in a federal courtroom in New York City, just a few hours after the jury began deliberating.
