In Pictures: Donald Trump’s return to the White House

Donald Trump is due to be sworn in as America’s 47th president, capping a remarkable comeback after he overcame impeachments, criminal indictments and two assassination attempts to win another term in the White House.

Mr Trump will take charge for his second term as Republicans assume unified control of Washington and set out to reshape the country’s institutions.
