41-year-old woman to sentenced next month after pleading guilty to series of drug charges

A 41-year-old woman will be sentenced next month after she pleaded guilty to a series of drug charges.
The woman who was granted anonymity due to the general threat existing in the city appeared at Derry Crown Court today.
She pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis on October 7, 2021 as well as a charge of possessing cannabis with intent to supply on August 7, 2021.
The woman was also charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine on dates between December 1, 2019 and August 8, 2021 and again she pleaded guilty.
She also admitted a charge of being concerned in the supply of cannabis on the same dates.
The Recorder, Judge Neil Rafferty KC, released the defendant on bail to enable a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
He told the woman that these were 'serious offences' and warned her that the fact she was being released on bail should not be taken as any indication that there won't be a custodial outcome of the case.
She will be sentenced on November 28.
