Arrested driver three times legal limit: Derry police

A driver stopped in Derry last night was three times over the legal limit, police in the city have revealed.

The motorist was stopped by tactical support group (TSG) officers at The Meadows in the Templemore area of the city.

He was subsequently arrested for driving whilst unfit, failing to stop and failing to report a road traffic accident.

Police in Derry are appealing for information about an assault on a man in the Letterkenny Road area of the city.
