Average house price in Derry/Strabane £90,451 new research reveals

The average house price in the Derry/Strabane is £90,451 according to Ulster University’s latest Quarterly House Price Index report.

The most recent report examines the performance of Northern Ireland’s residential property market over October, November and December 2015.

It is produced by Ulster University in partnership with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.

The Ulster University research highlights that the Derry- Strabane market has reduced from a much stronger performance earlier in the year with an average price of £90,451.

It goes on to state however that this is not consistent across all property types with terraced/townhouses increasing over both the annual and quarterly time periods with an average price of £62,368.

The average price of semi-detached houses is £101,739 whilst detached houses are at £143,567.
