'Big Bus' comes to Derry this week
Action Cancer is bringing its SuperValu Big Bus mobile unit to Derry this week.
The unit will be hosted in partnership with the local Galliagh Womens Group the Action Cancer at Steelstown ‘Brian Ogs’ GAA Club on Wednesday.
The return of the Big Bus has been welcomed by SDLP Cllr Angela Dobbins.
She said: "The charity helps deliver crucial, lifesaving services to as many people as possible throughout N.Ireland. It provides screening services to women and MOT health checks for men and women. The Big Bus enables these services to be brought to the doorsteps of the community.
"This service has been running for over six years now and I am confident that Wednesday’s event will be just as successful.”
