Boys' bikes stolen after they take part in charity cycle

Bicycles belonging to two young boys have been stolen – just hours after they took part in a charity event in Derry.

The boys, aged 10 and 7, completed a six-mile cycle on Saturday in aid of the Tearfund charity.

However, just a few hours later, their bikes were stolen from outside their house in the Clooney Estate in the Waterside.

Their dad has issued photos of the two bikes (above) and appealed for anyone with information about their theft to contact the police.
