The countdown is on at the Millennium Forum for the Youth Musical production of the hit musical, ‘FAME’.
Curtain-up is on Wednesday, July 26, running until Sat 29th July.
'Fame' is an all local youth version of one of the best-selling musicals of all time and will feature the cream of local talent.
Cara McCartney, the Development and Creative Engagement Manager at the Millennium Forum described 'FAME' as a "high-octane musical featuring the Academy Award-winning title song ‘FAME’ and a host of other catchy pop tunes."
The Youth Musical production tells the story of a group of performing arts students who join New York City’s much celebrated High School in 1980 until they graduate from it four years later.
Mike Braniff, Firmus Energy’s Marketing Officer said: "Firmus Energy is proud to be actively involved in communities across Northern Ireland, especially in Derry, one of the first areas we brought natural gas to as part of our 10 Towns Network project back in 2015.

This support enables us to reinvest in our community outreach initiatives, with our annual youth musical being a shining example.
"With Firmus Energy as our show sponsor, we can now reach even deeper into our communities and provide free professional arts facilitation to all our young participants of Fame the Musical during the summer period. The Millennium Forum's annual Youth musical serves as a significant milestone, often serving as the first step into the professional world of theatre for many of our talented participants.
Thank you Firmus Energy for empowering our young performers”
