County Derry Credit Union Recruiting for a Part-Time Cashier
Moyola & Toome Credit Union is currently recruiting for a part-time Cashier to work at its branch in Toomebridge. The role is six hours a week, primarily on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. Some cover work during weekdays may be required too.
The job involves serving members of the credit union at the counter. This includes making lodgements, withdrawals, loan draw-downs, and repayments. You will also promote the philosophy of the credit union, explain its products and services, and present a professional, courteous, and friendly image.
The successful candidate must also be able to accurately and diligently handle cash as well as reconciling balances.
The essential requirements for the role include:
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths to grade C or above
- Basic computer skills
- Good oral and written interpersonal skills
- Experience of handling and being responsible for cash and cheques
- Experience dealing with customers face-to-face and on the phone
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working in an office/financial environment
- Full, clean driving license and access to own transport
