County Derry man charged with attempted grievous bodily harm returned for trial

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a charge of attempted grievous bodily harm.
Sean Brendan Darren Meenan (33) of Neptune Crescent in Ballykelly appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrates' Court.
He faced one charge of attempted grievous bodily harm on a man on July 14, 2023.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Meenan said he did not wish to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on February 4 and released on continuing bail.
