The following deaths have occurred:-
Patsy McCann, 1 Bells Terrace, Castledawson
The death has taken place of Patsy McCann (Castledawson), 15th March 2023, beloved husband of Brenda and loving father of Pauline, John, Chris and Clare, dear brother of Eamon and the late Kathleen, Matthew and Bobby. Funeral from his home, 1 Bells Terrace on Saturday, 18th March at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Patrick Castledawson, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughters, daughters in law Irene and Emma, grandchildren Maeve, Rory, Conor, Eimear, brother, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
Elizabeth (Lily) McManus (née Wilson), 3 Daisy Drive, Limavady
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Elizabeth (Lily) McManus (née Wilson), 15th March 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Robert Orrell. Loving mother of Drew, Heather, Stewart, Ruth, Jenny, David, Glenda, Paul, Trudie and the late Anthony and a much loved grandmother and great grandmother. Private family time from 10.00pm to 1.00pm please. Funeral service in her home, 3 Daisy Drive, Limavady on Saturday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Enagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. John Gordon Smyth, 21 Lisnablagh Road, Coleraine
The death has taken place of John Gordon Smyth, 16th March 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 21 Lisnablagh Road, Coleraine, dearly loved father of Betty, Diane, Gordon and the late Darrell and a much loved father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Service in his home on Sunday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Marie Curie Nurses c/o Mrs Mona Murdock, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted by his loving family and entire family circle.
Frances Walsh (née Gallagher), 21 Abbey House, Derry
The death has occurred of Frances Walsh (née Gallagher), 15th March 2023, at Altnagelvin Hospital, late of 21 Abbey House, Derry and formerly Skeoge Cottages, Bridgend, Co Donegal, Coventry, England and Wexford. Predeceased by her husband Richard, her parents Mary and Henry Gallagher, Skeoge Cottages, Bridgend, her sisters Margaret Callaghan, Bridgend, Rose Coyle, Coventry and her brother John Gallagher, Westport. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her brother Patsy, Skeoge Cottages, Bridgend, sisters Angela Friel, Buncrana and Eileen Devine, Dunamanagh, nieces, nephews, her extended family and friends. Reposing at her late sister Margaret Callaghan's late residence at Bonemaine, Bridgend. Removal from there on Friday, 17th March, at 4.30pm going to St Aengus' Church, Burt, to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning, 18th March, at 11.00am followed by interment in Burt Cemetery. Frances' Requiem Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/burt.
