The following deaths have occurred:-
Gerry Nixon, 20 Glenview Street, Derry
The death has occurred of Gerry Nixon, 20th April 2023, beloved husband of Betty, 20 Glenview Street, loving father of Linda, Michelle, Fergal, Gerard and Sharleen, a devoted grandfather and great grandfather, son of the late Cecilia and John and much loved brother of Celine, Dolores, Phillip, Attracta, Eddie, Raymond, Pauline, and the late John, June, Paul and Pat. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake strictly private from 10.00pm to 12noon. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Martina (Tina) Quigley (née Clifford), 127 Woodbrook, Derry
The death has taken place of Martina (Tina) Quigley (née Clifford), 20th April 2023, beloved wife of Rory, 127 Woodbrook, loving mother of Conor, Martin and Colleen, mother-in-law of Sean and Christine and dear sister of Annemarie, Patricia and Roisin. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.20am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
