The following deaths have occurred:-
Helen Boucher (née Gaile), 124 Meadowvale Park, Limavady
The death has taken place of Helen Boucher (née Gaile), 25th January 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late James R.I.P. Loving mother of Jim, David, Robert, Janet, Donna, Sonia and the late Teresa R.I.P. A much loved mother-in-law, granny, and great-granny. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. House private please.
Funeral from her home, 124 Meadowvale Park, Limavady on Saturday at 9.20am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am in Christ the King Church Limavady followed by interment in adjoining Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Kathleen Russell Browne (née Lapsley), 344 Glenshane Road, Claudy
The death has occurred of Kathleen Russell Browne (née Lapsley), 25th January 2023, (peacefully) at Cornfield Care Centre, Limavady, beloved wife of the late Albert, 344 Glenshane Road, Claudy, loving mother of Keith and Ian, mother-in-law of Hazel and Elizabeth, devoted grandmother of Gordon, Lorraine, Aimee, Alex and Kathryn and a much loved great-grandmother. Her remains will be reposing in her home on Thursday from 2.00pm - 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Friday at 12.40pm for funeral service at 1o’clock in Upper Cumber Presbyterian Church, Claudy. Interment afterwards in Upper Cumber Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Aileen Carmichael, 37 Glack Road, Ballykelly
The death has occurred of Aileen Carmichael, 25th January 2023, (suddenly) at home, 37 Glack Road, Ballykelly, beloved partner of Coilin, loving mother of Cillian and James, beloved daughter of the late Brigid and Cathal, dear sister of Orla, Ceire and Cathal Og, sister-in-law of Sean and much loved aunt of Ava and Shauna. Funeral from her home on Saturday at 10.20am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Finlough’s Church, Ballykelly. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Maureen Hamilton, 27 Dungiven Road, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Maureen Hamilton, (peacefully) at Daleview House Nursing Home, on 26th January 2023, late of 27 Dungiven Road. Loving sister of Vincent, Eunan and the late Tommy, Jack, Dick, Gerald, Colm and Kathleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and Good Shepherd Sisters. Maureen's remains will leave Daleview Nursing Home at 6.30pm this evening (Friday) to repose overnight in St. Columb's Church, Chapel Roadd. Funeral Requiem Mass will take place on Satuday at 10.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ardmore. Bertie Kennedy, formerly of Clarence Court, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Bertie Kennedy, 25th January 2023, (peacefully) at The Bohill Care Home, Bertie (formerly of Clarence Court, Coleraine), dearly beloved husband of the late Marsili (Dot), much loved father of Alan and the late Colin and dear father-in-law of Ruth. Service in Killowen Parish Church on Saturday at 1.30pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Irene McLaughlin (née Connelly), 53 Belvoir Park, Culmore, Derry
The death has taken place of Irene McLaughlin (née Connelly), 25th January 2023, (peacefully) at the Foyle Hospice, surrounded by her family, beloved wife of the late Liam, 53 Belvoir Park, Culmore, loving mother of Carol Anne, Catherine, Neil, Michael and David, dear mother-in-law of Conor, Niamh and Siobhan, devoted granny of Lewis, Aoife, Callum, Leah, Ciara, Molly and Naoise and dear sister of Eddie, Caroline and the late Kathleen, Joseph and Stephen. Irene’s remains will be reposing at her home on Friday from 2.00pm, leaving from there on Saturday at 1.30pm for a prayer service in W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU at 2.00pm. Requiem Mass and interment in St Conval’s Cemetery, Glasgow at a later date. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Eugene McNabb, 2 Slemish View, Magherafelt
The death has taken place of Eugene McNabb (Magherafelt), 25th January 2023, beloved husband of Patsy and loving father of Alphonsus, Lynne, Thelma and Joanne, son of the late John and Annie and brother of the late Joachim, Frances, Josephine, Ann, Mary Smyth (Lurgan), Raymond, John (Jackie), Michael and Teresa McKeever. Funeral from his home, 2 Slemish View on Friday, 27th January at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of the Assumption Magherafelt, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, daughters, sons in law Paddy McAlonan, Gerard Shivers, Paddy Mulholland, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and entire family circle.
