The following deaths have occurred:-
Carol Anne Agnew (née Lockhart), Coleraine
The death has occurred of Carol Anne Agnew (née Lockhart), 4th January 2023, dearly loved wife of Robin, devoted mummy of Rosie and Will, loving daughter of Marion and the late David, dear sister of Brian and a much loved daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and aunt. House strictly private. Service of Thanksgiving in First Coleraine Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 11.00am followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations, if wished, by making cheques payable to ‘Cancer Fund for Children’ c/o Ms Charlene Wade, 3 Upper Abbey Street, Coleraine BT52 1BF. Lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
Donal Brolly, 5 Beech Road, Gortnaghey, Dungiven
The death has taken place of Donal Brolly, 3rd January 2023, (peacefully) at home, 5 Beech Road, Gortnaghey, Dungiven, beloved husband of Helena, loving father of Nuala, Stephen, Lisa, Donal, Daniel and Damian, father-in-law of Barney, Rory, Paula, Colleen and Gemma, a much loved grandfather and dear brother of Colm, Myra, Lawrence, Eugene, Imelda, Martha, Gabriel, Frances, Eithne, Jeanette, Eoghan, Anna and the late Damian and Fidelma. Funeral from his home on Friday at 12.30pm for 1o’clock Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Gortnaghey. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Bridget Coyle (née McLaughlin), 113 Shanreagh Park, Limavady
The death has taken place of Bridget Coyle (née McLaughlin), 5th January 2023, beloved wife of the late Pat, 113 Shanreagh Park, Limavady, loving mother of Brian, Marie and the late Kieran, mother-in-law of Aileen, Gary and Eimear, devoted grandmother of Cliodhna, Caomhán and Oonagh and dear sister of Betty, Billy, John, Monica, Margaret, Brian and the late Hugh and Mary. House restricted to family and close friends only please at Bridget’s own request. Bridget’s remains will be removed from her home on Friday at 6.30pm for Requiem Mass on Saturday in St Mary’s Church, Limavady at 10o’clock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Patrick John (Jack) Doherty, 3 Ardnarea Crescent, Kingsfort Park, Derry
The death has occurred of Patrick John (Jack) Doherty, 5th January 2023, (suddenly) at his late residence, 3 Ardnarea Crescent, Kingsfort Park, Derry, (former teacher at St. Columb’s College, Derry). Beloved husband of Patricia and the late Pamela, much loved father of Jennifer Ward, David Doherty and the late baby Mary Patricia, loving granda of Sinéad, Eimear, Fionnuala and the late Aodhán, dearest brother of Neil, Kathleen and the late Judith and Edward. Funeral from his late residence on Sunday, 8th January at 11.20am for Requiem Mass at 12noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in St. Mura’s Cemetery, Fahan. The Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam. The house is private please. Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by his entire family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Bobby Orr, 11 Scriggan Road, Limavady
The death has taken place of Bobby Orr (Limavady and formerly Derry), 5th January 2023, (suddenly but peacefully), late of 11 Scriggan Road, Limavady. Beloved partner of Mildred McNicholl (Glenullin); son of the late Robert and Annie and a much loved brother of May, John and Billy. Deeply regretted by the entire Orr and McNicholl family circle. The Lord is My Shepherd. Funeral arrangements will be updated when they become available.
Eileen Robinson (née Bradley), 11 Drumcliff Avenue, Derry
The death has taken place of Eileen Robinson (née Bradley), 5th January 2023, (peacefully) at her home, 11 Drumcliff Avenue, beloved wife of the late John, loving mother to Noreen, Alec, Marie, Helen, Martina, Damien, Gina, Lisa, Shauna and the late Noella, a devoted granny and great granny, dear sister of Charlie, Marie and the late Jean and Colm and a loving mother-in-law. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday, 7th January at 9.20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. O Sacred Heart Of Jesus I place my trust in thee.
Gerard Toner, Priory Road, Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Gerard Toner, (suddenly but peacefully) at his home on 31st December 2022, late of Priory Road, Dungiven. Beloved son of Frances and the late Gerry R.I.P., devoted father of Saorlaith and Katelyn, loving brother of Geraldine, Louisa, Columba, Marie, Patricia, Brendan and Colm. Will be sadly missed by Gael and deeply regretted by Melanie, his sisters in law and brothers in law, nieces and nephews and the entire family circle. Reposing at his mother’s home, 863 Glenshane Road, Dungiven. Wake will commence today (Friday) at 11.00am until 9.30pm. House private morning of funeral. Funeral on Saturday, 7th January leaving at 12.30pm for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in Saint Patrick’s Church Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please donations in lieu to Saint Vincent De Paul (SVP) c/o McLaughlin Funeral Directors. Saint Joseph patron saint of the departed souls pray for him.
