Sarah (Sadie) Blanking (née McGavigan), 8 Summerhill, Prehen
The death has taken place of the late Sarah (Sadie) Blanking (née McGavigan), 5th September 2024 peacefully at Rush Hall Care Home, Limavady, beloved wife of the late Alan, caring stepmother of Maureen, Owen, Mia and Joanna and a much loved grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 8 Summerhill, Prehen. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.25am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Waterside. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Maria Boyd, 131 Lettershendony Avenue, Drumahoe
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Maria Boyd peacefully at Foyle Hospice on 4th September 2024. May she rest in peace. Late of 131 Lettershendony Avenue, Drumahoe, Co Derry. Beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Charlie R.I.P and loving twin sister of Louise and sister of Sharon (Paddy), Sean (Mary)and Kevin (Yvonne). Devoted auntie of Niall, Caoimhe, Zara, Charlie and Liam. Reposing at her late home. Maria’s wake has now commenced for family and close friends. Funeral on Friday, 6th September leaving at 11.15am for 12noon Requiem Mass at Saint Mary’s Church, Tamnaheirn. Oliver Campbell, 57 Blackburn Crescent, Kilfennan, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Oliver Campbell, September 4 2024, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family, in his 87th year) much loved husband of Betty (Elizabeth), devoted father of David, Brian, Howard and Adele, loving father-in-law of Tracey, Donna, Sue and the late David, an adored grandfather and great-grandfather, a dear brother of Jackie. Funeral service in his late home, 57 Blackburn Crescent, Kilfennan on Sunday, 8th September at 1.30pm, followed by burial in Mountcastle Cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Henry James (Jim) Clarke, September 4th 2024 (suddenly, but peacefully) at his home, 14 Eden Road, Upperlands, dearly beloved Husband of the late Susan, devoted Father of David, Laura, Harry and Paul and dearest Brother of Florence, Martha, Minnie and the late Emma. Funeral service will take place in Culnady Presbyterian Church on Friday, September 6th at 2:00pm, followed by burial in St. Lurach's Parish Churchyard, Maghera (at 3:45pm approx.). The death has taken place of the late George Gibson, September 5th 2024 (peacefully) at The Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, dearly beloved Husband of May, 29 O'Hara Road, Maghera, devoted Father of Rhonda, Denver and Melvin, a dear Father-in-Law of Marlin, Nan and Vikki, much adored Granda of Paul, Kelly, John, Laura, David, Joanne, Matthew and Aimee and a beloved Great Grandfather. Beloved wife of the late Edward and much-loved mother of Maire, devoted grandmother of Ronan and Emilia and Mother-in-law of Barney Bradley. Daughter of the late Ken and Mary and sister of Kevin, Tommy, Anne McAleese, Peadar and the late Alec, Bernie, Paddy and Jack.
