Eddie Dillon, Maghera (Updated arrangements)
The death has taken place of Eddie Dillon (Maghera and formerly Kilrea), 4th July 2023. Everyone welcome to call at McKiernan’s Funeral Home, 45-47 Maghera Street, Kilrea. BT51 5QL on Friday evening from 6.00pm – 9.00pm. Funeral Home private on Saturday. Suddenly as a result of an accident, beloved father of Orla, Clare, Aileen; father-in-law of Colum and dear granda of Liam, Eamonn, Cliodhna, Pearse and Dahlia. Son of the late Francis and Philomena and loving brother of Charlie, Seamus, Philomena, Mary, Colette and the late Angela, Dorothy and Jennifer. Funeral from McKiernan’s Funeral Home on Sunday at 1.20pm for 2.00pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Drumagarner. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. St. Martin de Porres pray for him. Deeply regretted by Marie and the entire Dillon and O’Hagan family circle.
Francis Carlin Gillespie, 35 Brickfield Court, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Francis Carlin Gillespie, (suddenly) at Altnagelvin hospital on 2nd July 2023. Late of 35 Brickfield Court. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Rosemary Gillespie, interred in Belleek, Co. Fermanagh. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. A private cremation will take place this afternoon, Thursday 6th July 2023 at Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan. Peace Perfect Peace.
Sean Kyle, 14 Osborne Street, Derry
The death has taken place of Sean Kyle, 3rd July 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 14 Osborne Street, beloved son of the late Billy and Rita, loving brother of Billy, dear brother-in-law of Caroline, devoted uncle of Steven and his partner Charlotte, and a dear and loving great-uncle of Malakhi and Ella-Rose. Funeral leaving his home on Saturday, 8th July at 9.20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
Mary Lowry (née McCloskey), 66 Canterbury Park, Killfennan, Derry
The death has taken place of Mary Lowry (née McCloskey), 5th July 2023, beloved wife of Colin, 66 Canterbury Park, Killfennan, loving mother of Steven, David, Jenny and Ryan, mother-in-law of Michael, Shannon and Rachel, devoted granny of Logan and Clodagh and dear sister of Kathleen, Geraldine, William, Shaun and Michaela. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Saturday at 1.30pm for 2o’clock service in Glendermott Parish Church. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family time please from 10.00pm to 10.00am. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of Louise James McFaul, 5th July 2023, at Causeway Hospital, 77 Mettican Road, Garvagh. Dearly loved father of Jason, Willy, Joe, Robin, Samuel, Deborah and the late David, Louise and Geoffrey. Margaret Jean Miller (née Brown), called home 6th July 2023, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly loved wife of the late Thompson, 40a Carmean Road, Magherafelt, much loved and devoted mother of Margaret and George, dear mother-in-law of Desmond and Dorothy, loving grandmother of Valerie, Derek, Angela and Craig, cherished great-grandmother of Jolene, Charlene, Kyle, Scarlett and Amber-Rose and dearest sister of Roberta (Weir), William, Cecil and the late Tommy.
