The death has taken place of the late Desmond Cleary (Magherafelt), April 16 2025, beloved husband of Colette and loving father of Grainne and Gregory, son of the late Desmond and Mary and dear brother of Brendan, Mary, Fergus and the late James. Funeral from his home, 5 Mullaghboy Lane on Saturday, April 19 at 10.15am for 11.00am Liturgy of the Word in Church of Our Lady of the Assumption Magherafelt, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St John Milltown Magherafelt. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Marad Hassan (née Hurley) (Swatragh), April 16 2025, beloved wife of the late Eamonn and loving mother of Eamonn and Joanne (Cassidy), daughter of the late Joe and Margaret Hurley and dear sister of Ann Marie, Joseph, Assunta, Dermot, Madeline, Ina, Fidelma, Christine and Paul. Funeral from her home, 6 Corlecky Hill on Monday, April 21 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. John the Baptist Granaghan, via webcam st-john-baptist-swatragh - MCN, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. The death has taken place of the late Winifred (Winnie) Orpah Love (née Brown), April 16 2025, (peacefully) at Willow Grove Nursing Home, Dungannon, (in her 94th year), dearly loved Wife of the late Annett, 7 Mountview Gardens, Moneymore, much loved Mother of Harold and Sandra, a loving Mother-in-Law of Edna and Malcolm, devoted Granny of Steven, Nigel, Gary, Julie, Jonathan and Dylan, a beloved Great Granny and a dear Sister. William (Liam) Morrin, 27 Glen Road, Derry
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Liam) Morrin, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice on April 17 2025. Late of 27 Glen Road. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary. Devoted father of Liam, Simon, Marc, Kieran and Louise. Loving granda of Leah, Lily, Emily, Sara, Eabha and Savannah. A much loved brother of Jim, Margie, Paul, Karen, Marie and the late Christopher, Eddie, Sean and Danny. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends. Beloved wife of the late Cyril and loving mother of John and Stephen, dear sister of the late Harold and the late Brenda. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters in law Amanda and Brenda, nieces, nephews and wider family circle. The wake for Enid will commence on Friday, April 18 at her son’s Stephen’s home, 2 Castle Lane, Castledawson from 6.00pm to 10.00pm and on Saturday from 11.00am to 10.00pm. Enid’s funeral will take place in England.

The death has taken place of the late Michael (Mickey) Young, April 15 2025 suddenly at his home, 4 Abbots Walk, Meenan Park, beloved husband of the Late Noreen loving father of Michael and Darren A much loved Grandfather of Caitlin, Chole, Aaron, Ellie, Jessica, Darcy and great grandfather of Mia.
