The death has occurred of the late John Dixon, August 28 2025, late of Hardy Court, Ballymagroarty, loving father of Thomas, Christopher, Marietta, Adrian and the late John and Donna, son of the late Margaret and Tommy, and a much loved grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. His remains will be reposing in his sister Margaret’s home, 105 Lettershandoney Avenue. Funeral from there on Saturday at 11o’clock for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

The death has occurred of the late Eamon O'Kane, August 28 2025, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, loving father of Sorcha and Ailish, father-in-law of Chris and Gavin, devoted grandfather of Corinne, Joseph and Niamh, husband of Laurie and dear brother of Michael, Liam and Anna. His remains will be reposing in his brother’s home, 4 Cedar Street. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time from 10.00pm – 11.00am please. Family flowers only please.
