The death has occurred of the late Jeanie Margretta (Gretta) Ewart, June 19 2025, peacefully in hospital, Cranagh Road, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of the late Samuel James (Sammy), much loved mother of Trevor, mother-in-law of Elizabeth, and grandmother of Samuel, William, and Gareth; and a dearly loved great-grandmother. House and funeral strictly private by her own request. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of John Louden, June 18 2025, Peacefully in Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of the Woodlands, Culmore. Dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret. Loving father of Julie, Joy, and her partner Richard. Devoted grandad of Sophia and Emily. A much loved brother of Roy, Ken, Myra and the late Victor. Dear uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Funeral service in Knowhead Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 21 at 2.00pm followed by burial in Culmore Parish Church burial ground. House private. Family flowers only. Michael McLaughlin, Watford (formerly of Tirkane)
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Michael McLaughlin, peacefully on May 27 2025. May he rest in peace. Late of 2 Kingswood Road, Watford, Herts, WD25 0EE. Beloved husband of Kathleen (née Mullholland formerly Tirkane). Much loved father of Michelle and Gary and father in law of Des. Devoted grandfather of Callum , Steffie and James. Loving son of the late Michael and Sarah R.I.P (Cashel, Dungiven) and dear brother of Sr Myriam, Danny (Philomena), Dermot (Bernie) Margaret (Kevin) Seamus (Marlene) and the late John R.I.P (Mary). Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Funeral will take place on Thursday, June 16 2025 at 12noon in Our Lady and St Michael’s Catholic Church, Garston , interment afterwards in North Watford Cemetery. Mary McQuillan (née McCausland), 16 Tyler Avenue, Limavady
It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Mary McQuillan (née McCausland), June 18 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Seamus, loving mother of Glenda and Richard, mother-in-law of Lee and Karen, devoted grandmother of Alex, Charlie, Jude and Annabelle and dear sister of Patrick, Pauline and the late Ann. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 16 Tyler Avenue, Limavady, on Thursday from 6.00pm – 9.00pm and on Friday from 2.00pm – 4.00pm and 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in Christ The King Church, Limavady. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Peter Meenan, London (formerly of Derry)
The death has occurred of the late Pater Meehan, suddenly at his home in London, beloved son of the late Barney and Bridie, (formerly of Ardnamoyle Park and Bracken Park), loving brother of Jean, Joan, Brian (Barney), Thomas, Joe, John, Tina, Briedge and the late Martin (Squeak) and Michael (Ben), treasured uncle to all his nieces and nephews, forever friend of Dionne and doting godfather to her daughter Zoe. Peter will be reposing at his sister Martina’s home, 46 Pinetrees. House private from 10:00pm to 12noon. Funeral leaving 46 Pinetrees on Saturday, June 21 at 10:20am to St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
