The following deaths have occurred:-
William Clyde, The Hermitage, Limavady
The death has occurred of William Clyde, (peacefully) passed away at Foyle Hospice, on 17th December 2022, late of The Hermitage, Limavady. Much loved father of Tabitha and Justin, father in law of Eric and devoted grandfather of Jade, Elli and Sydney. Also a dear brother of John, Margaret, Betty and the late Ernest and Marion. Funeral service will be held in Tamlaghtard Parish Church on Wednesday at 12noon followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Friends and family welcome at his sister Betty Hunt's home, 40 Killane Road, Limavady. No flowers please, donations if desired and cheques payable to Foyle Hospice and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind. Est, Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his entire family circle.
Gillian Pamela Flay (née Broom), 16, Church Brae, Altnagelvin, Derry
The death has taken place of Gillian Pamela Flay (née Broom), 17th December 2022, (peacefully) at Foyle Hospice (surrounded by her loving husband formerly of 16 Church Brae, Altnagelvin) much loved and devoted wife of David, darling daughter of Pam and Ian, precious sister of Lesley, James, and Jane, loving daughter-in-law of David and Joy, dearest sister-in-law of Maxine, Hayley and Martin. Funeral leaving D. & R. Hay & Sons, Funeral Home, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ at 12.00noon on Tuesday, 20th December followed by Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3.00pm. Memorial service will take place on Wednesday, 21st December at 1.00pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1A, Bonds Hill, Derry. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Foyle Hospice, c/o Mrs. Ruth Hay, Funeral Director (at above address).Everyone is welcome to call and pay their respects to Gillian at Funeral Home from 2.00pm till 4.00pm on Monday evening from 6.00pm till 8.00pm. She died as she lived everyone’s friend.
Richard (Richie) Kilpatrick, 71 Templegrove, Derry
The death has taken place of Richard (Richie) Kilpatrick, 17th December 2022, (suddenly) at Altnagelvin Hospital. Deeply regretted by his beloved Frances. Loving father of Kerry. Lisa, Paul, and the late Beth R.I.P. Father-in-law of Mickey, Klara and Kevin, a much loved grandfather of Ella, Jamie, Connor, and Tommy. Dear son of Iris and William, brother of Ivor, Linda, Janet and Jill. Private family time from 10.00pm to 11.00am please. Funeral from his home, 71 Templegrove, Derry on Wednesday at 9.25am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Noel McGuinness, 18 Moyola Park, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Noel McGuinness, (peacefully) at the Foyle Hospice, on 18th December 2022. Loving partner of Teresa, beloved son of Billy and Bernie McGuinness. A much loved brother of Pauline, Jim, Rita, Deirdre, Siobhan, Michelle and Liam. Dearest uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Noel's remains will be reposing at his late family residence, 18 Moyola Walk. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday, 20th December at 9.20am for 10 00am Requiem Mass in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Burial immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake house private from 11.00pm till 10.00am. Margaret Jane Whiteside (née White), 1 Roeview Park Limavady
Margaret Jane Whiteside (née White), passed away (peacefully) in Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Much Loved wife of William James Whiteside. Devoted mother of Valerie, Roland, Mark, June, Jacquline, Karen, Yvonne and Ian and their partners. Daughter of the late Maggie and Jim (Garvagh) Devoted sister of Mary, Robert and Sarah (Betty), also the late Jim and Willie, also a much loved granny of her granchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Leaving from her late Home 1 Roeview Park Limavady on Tuesday 20th December at 12.45pm for 1.30pm Service at Bovevagh Parish Church, followed by burial in adjoining Church yard. Family flowers only please.
