The following deaths have occurred:-
Jean Canning (née Gillan), Wilcan Lodge, 103 Greystone Road, Limavady
The death has taken place of Jean Canning (née Gillan), 31st December 2023, late of Wilcan Lodge, 103 Greystone Road, Limavady passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Willie. Dearest mother of Lyn, Geoffrey, Paula, Sarah, Claire and Jennifer and mother-in-law of John Hagan, Patricia Canning, Simon Marshall, Mark Pancott, Richard Mullan and Adriaan King. Sister of Rosaleen Cromie and the late Gerald Gillan. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 2nd January at 12noon in St Mary’s Church, Irish Green Street, Limavady. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends are welcome at Wilcan Lodge from 3.00pm to 9.00pm on Monday, 1st January 2024. Family flowers only please. Andrea Diamond (née Gilmore), 11a Glenvale Road, Bellaghy (updated arrangements)
The death has taken place of Andrea Diamond (née Gilmore), 30th December 2023, (peacefully at hospital) Andrea RIP, beloved wife of Philip, much loved mother of Dylan, Molly, Kelsi, Leah, Kevin and Laura and loving sister of Margaret, Stuart, Caroline and Devina. Her remains will leave her late residence on Tuesday, 2nd January at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Bellaghy (which can be viewed via the parish webcam see link below), burial immediately afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery, Tamlaght O’Crilly. NB: Family time requested please between 10.00pm and 11.00am. Lenny Gordon, 11 Corrib Court, Ballymagroarty, Derry
The death has taken place of Lenny Gordon, 29th December 2023, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, beloved husband of Caroline, loving father of Teresa and Thomas, devoted grandfather to Ella and Aiden, dear son of the late Harry and Ida and a dear and loving brother and uncle. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Funeral leaving his home, 11 Corrib Court, Ballymagroarty on Wednesday, 3rd January at 9.30am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Sarah (Sally) Houston (née Casey), 3 Blighs Gardens, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Sarah (Sally) Houston (née Casey), peacefully at Owenmor Care Home on 30th December 2023. Late of 3 Blighs Gardens. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of the late Patrick. Devoted mother of Elaine, Eamonn and the late Anne and Carol. A much loved mother-in-law of Paddy, Paul and Jane. Loving granny of David, Paul, Emma and Barry. Precious great-granny of Annie, Ryan, Dillon and Ava. Dearest sister of Margaret, Maureen, Gerald and the late Anne, Kathleen, Brian and Terrence. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends. Sally’s remains will be reposing at her son-in-law Paddy's residence. Beloved daughter of the Mary and the late Danny. Dear sister of Charlene, Stacey and the late Danny and Adrian.
