The following deaths have occurred:-
Henry John (Harry) Arbuthnot, 66 Glenkeen Road, Aghadowey
The death has taken place of Henry John (Harry) Arbuthnot, 19th February 2023, (peacefully) at Royal Victoria Hospital, 66 Glenkeen Road, Aghadowey, dearly beloved husband of Margaret, much loved father of Amy and Gill, dear father-in-law of Jonathan and Steve and loving grandfather of Lily, Emma and Chloe. Funeral service in Culnady Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 2.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. Sadly missed by his sorrowing family and entire family circle.
Marie Hagan (née Donnelly), 26 Chichester Avenue, Castledawson
The death has taken place of Marie Hagan (née Donnelly), 18th February 2023, (peacefully) at home surrounded by her loving family, Marie, dearly beloved wife of the late Patsy and much-loved mother of Nuala, Sean, Padraig and Deirdre. Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen, Margaret and her grandson Brendan. Funeral from her home 26 Chichester Avenue for 11.00am Requiem Mass at Church of St Patrick Castledawson today (Monday, 20th February). Interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchild, nephews, nieces and wider family circle.
Irene (Rene) Kemps (née Harpur), 12 Broomhill Park, Coleraine
The death has occurred of Irene (Rene) Kemps (née Harpur), 18th February 2023, (peacefully), formerly of 12 Broomhill Park, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of the late Archie, cherished mother of Nigel and Corinne, loving mother-in-law of Elaine and John, much loved granny of Laura, Catherine, Janie and Jessica and dear sister of the late Caldwell and Billy. House strictly private. Service of thanksgiving in Leckpatrick Presbyterian Church, Artigarvan on Tuesday at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please. Bryan Adrian McMonagle, Derry
The death has taken place of Bryan Adrian McMonagle, 18th February 2023, (peacefully) at the Causeway Hospital, Coleraine (in the tender loving care of his family) much loved daddy of Gail and Laura, adored granda of Joshua and Dawson, dearest brother of Betty, Robert, Jim and the late Jean and John. Funeral leaving D. & R. Hay & Sons, Funeral Home 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ on Tuesday, 21st February at 12.00noon followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in Richill Park Baptist Church, Lisnagelvin at 12.30pm burial afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Chest, Heart & Stroke or Dementia N. I. c/o Mrs. Ruth Hay, Funeral Director (address above). Everyone is welcome to call at the Funeral Home on Monday to pay their respects to Bryan from 11.00am till 3.00pm and in the evening from 6.00pm till 8.00pm.
