The following deaths have occurred:-
William Ronald (Ronnie) Gibson, 17 Hanover Square, Coagh
The death has taken place of William Ronald (Ronnie) Gibson, 4th June 2023, (peacefully) at his home, surrounded by his loving family, 17 Hanover Square, Coagh, dearly loved husband of the late Jean, much loved father of Carol, Heather, Avril and the late Adele, a dear father-in-law of Mark, Freddie, Tyrone and Stephen, devoted granda of Carolyn, Christopher, Philip, James, Andrew, Jeremy, Jamie, Gemma, Jonathan and Jessica and a dear brother of Arthur and the late Eunice, Stewart and Bryson. House private. Funeral from his home on Tuesday, 6th June at 1.30pm, to Tamlaght Parish Church for service at 2.00pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Marie Curie, payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP. Forever loved and sadly missed by his loving family and family circle.
Maureen Jennings (née Lynch), 81A Drumleck Drive, Derry
The death has occurred of Maureen Jennings (née Lynch), 3rd June 2023, (peacefully) at Owen Mor Care Home, (formerly of 81A Drumleck Drive), beloved wife of Terry, loving mother of Terry, devoted grandmother of Jack, Maisie and Charlie, dear and loving sister of Susie, Jimmy, Phyllis and all her deceased brothers and sisters, dear mother-in-law to Jo and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Funeral leaving her niece Suzanne’s home, 570 Carnhill, on Tuesday, 6th June at 11.50am to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
Kathleen McConomy (née Doherty), 204 Carnhill, Derry
The death has taken place of Kathleen McConomy (née Doherty), 4th June 2023, (peacefully) at her home, 204 Carnhill (formerly of Lecky Road). Beloved wife of the late Mark. Loving mother of Seamus, Charles, Marie and Rosetta. Muched loved Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Dear sister of Eileen. Funeral from her home on Tuesday, 6th June at 11.20am to St Brigid’s Church Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery funeral Mass can be viewed on the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/carnhill. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all her family and everyone who knew her. Family time only from 11.00pm to 11.00am. Family flowers only. Margaret (Rita) Quigley (née McNulty), 149 Racecourse Road, Ballyarnett, Derry
The death has occurred of Margaret (Rita) Quigley (née McNulty), 4th June 2023, (peacefully) at home, beloved wife of the late Hugh, 149 Racecourse Road, Ballyarnett, loving mother of Jacqueline and Declan, a much loved grandmother of Mark, Gemma, Andrew, Clara, Louise and Alicia, great-grandmother of Zach, Scarlett, Oscar, Rían, River-Rose, Kaia-Rey and Hugo and a dear sister and aunt. Her remains are reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.25am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Iskaheen, Muff. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. The Mass can be viewed live via the church webcam. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
