The death has occurred of the late Gladys Mary Buchanan (née Hamilton), December 21 2024, Peacefully at home, 19 Terrydreen, Feeny (in the tender loving care of her family, in her 93rd year) much loved wife of the late George, devoted mum of Alma, Wendy, Julie and Gail, a loving mother-in-law, an adored grandmother, great-grandmother and a dear sister. Funeral leaving her late home on Monday, December 23 at 1.30pm, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for her life in Banagher Presbyterian Church at 1.45pm, burial afterwards in the adjoining Burial Ground. Gerald Cruickshank, 19 Little Diamond, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Gerald Cruickshank, December 22 2024, peacefully at Edenvale Care Home, Limavady beloved husband of the late Florrie, loving father of of John, Hugh, Gerry, Jim, Kathy, Michael, Matthew, and the late Rosena and Charlotte, a devoted grandfather, great- grandfather and great-great- grandfather, dear brother of the late Lexie and Louise and much loved father-in-law and uncle. His remains will be reposing in his home, 19 Little Diamond, BT48 9ED from 1.00pm on Monday. Funeral from there on Tuesday December 24 at 11.00am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Ansbeth Donnelly (née Hutchman), Dunmore Gardens, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Ansbeth Donnelly (née Hutchman), December 22 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of Dunmore Gardens), beloved wife of the late Patrick, dear daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Hutchman, loving sister of Edwin, Regina and the late Catherine, Joe, Martin, Philomena and Eugene and a devoted aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Ansbeth will be reposing at her sister Regina’s home, 17 Dunmore Gardens. Funeral leaving there on Tuesday, December 24 at 9:20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Service of Thanksgiving in her daughter Wendy’s home, 54 Duncastle Park, Newbuildings on Tuesday, December 24 at 10.30am followed by burial in Fahan Church of Ireland Churchyard (arriving approx. at 11.45am). It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie McConway, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on December 22 2024. Late of 125 Ard Ban, Muff and formerly of 32 Dunree Gardens, Creggan. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Caroline. Devoted father of Darren, Danielle, Christopher and Michelle. A much loved father-in-law of Kara, Paul and Gary. Loving granda of Ciaran, Matthew, Daniel, Corah-Mae, Calum, Charlie and Rebekah. A dear brother to all of his brothers and sisters.
