Jean Branagan (née Anderson), 3 Straid View, Claudy
The death has occurred of the late Jean Branagan (née Anderson), February 8 2025, peacefully at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family, in her 94th year, beloved wife of the late Don, formerly of Castleview Park, devoted mum of Don, Margaret (McLaren) and Lynda (Dickson), a much loved granny and great-granny and cherished daughter of the late Tommy and Agnes Anderson. Predeceased by all her brothers and sisters. Her remains will be reposing in her daughter’s home, 3 Straid View, Claudy, BT47 4UP. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.10 am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Anthony (Tony) Deehan, 12 Daly's Crescent, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Anthony (Tony) Deehan, February 8 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, beloved partner of Anne, loving father of Leanne and Clare, devoted granda of Eibhin and Brianna, dear and loving step-father of Martina, Eugena and Sean, and step-granda to their children, cherished brother of Ronnie, Harry, Maureen and Patsy and a dear father-in-law. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Tony will be reposing at his home. Funeral leaving there on Tuesday, February 11 at 10:50am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 11:00pm to 10:00am. Philip Doherty, 6 Glenullin Road, Garvagh
The death has taken place of the late Philip Doherty, February 7 2025, suddenly at the Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, 6 Glenullin Road, Garvagh. Dearly loved husband of Kerri and devoted daddy of Chloe and Kai and grandfather of Keegan and Heidi; much loved son of Yvonne and the late James, dearly loved brother of Diane (Aaron), and son-in-law of Desmond and Lorna. Family and friends are welcome to call at the family home to pay their respects. Service of Thanksgiving in St. Paul’s Parish Church, Garvagh on Tuesday at 12noon, followed by interment in Enagh Cemetery, Limavady. Family flowers only please. The death has occurred of the late Jim McNamara, February 8 2025, beloved husband of the late Rosaleen, 58 Galliagh Park, loving father of Sharon, Jim and Erin, father-in-law of Paul, Caroline and Niall, devoted grandfather of Amy, Lorcan, Daniel and Ellie, great-grandfather of Leia-Rose and dear brother of Ronnie, Bobby, Cathy, Margaret and the late Marie and Elaine. His remains will be reposing in his home from 3.00pm on Sunday. Funeral from on Tuesday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

The death has taken place of the late Gus Mullan, February 8 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved son of the late Willie and Sadie R.I.P. Service in Murdock’s Funeral Home, 2A Windsor Avenue, Coleraine on Wednesday at 12noon followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. House strictly private. Family flowers only please.
