The following deaths have occurred:-
Kevin Higgins, Limavady
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Kevin Higgins, (suddenly) in Sweden on 3rd February 2023. Partner of Sonia and loving father of Caoimh and Ida, loving son of Danny and Mary and dear brother of Michael, Ruaidhrí and Paddy. Kevin will repose at the family home upon his return to Limavady, Co Derry. The family have kindly asked that people pay their respects at Kevin’s wake, dates of which will be confirmed in due course and will be updated here as soon as they become available. Gary Hutcheon, Derry
The death has occurred of Gary Hutcheon, 10th February 2023, at Altnagelvin Hospital. Loving father of Caragh and Tristan, much loved son of Matthew and Mary Brigid, loving brother of Warren, Paul and Kelly, a much loved uncle. Funeral from his parents home, 125 Glenowen Park on Monday at 9.20am to St Eugene's Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Norman Johnston Kincaid, 18 Lisnagowan Court, Waterside, Derry
The death has occurred of Norman Johnston Kincaid, 9th February 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 18 Lisnagowan Court, Waterside (surrounded by his loving family in his 67th year) dearly beloved husband of Sabrina, loving father of David, Joanne, Laura, Amy, Sam, Katie, Jack and Emily, adored grandfather, dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral leaving his late home on Sunday, 12th February at 11.00am followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery, Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his many friends and the entire family circle. Your presence is missed, but in our hearts you will live forever.
Michael (Gerald) Mullan, 17 Windyhill Road, Limavady
The death has taken place of Michael (Gerald) Mullan, 10th February 2023, beloved husband of Anne, 17 Windyhill Road (formerly of Glasvey Drive, Ballykelly) loving father of Paul, Gary, Brian, Sean, Stephen and the late Kevin, father-in-law of Tatiana and Karina, devoted grandfather of Zoe, Lucas and Phillip, son of the late Bobby and Annie (Drumsurn) and dear brother of Liam, Noel, Angela, Patsy, Hugh B, Fintan, Rory and the late Sean, Bobby, Charlie and Breige. Gerald’s remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Sunday at 9.50am for 10.30am Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Limavady. A private cremation will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at a later date.

Donald Carr (Don) Smith, Derry
The death has taken place of Donald Carr (Don) Smith, 10th February 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin hospital, dearly beloved partner of Christine Molloy. Funeral service in Adair and Neely Funeral home at 1.00pm on Sunday, 12th February followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery, family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to Crossroads Presbyterian Church c/o Mr P Lynch The Manse 59 Limavady Road BT47 6LR. Don will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and friends. The Lord is my Shepherd.
Joe Stainsby, 44 Alexander House, Bishop Street, Derry
The death has taken place of Joe Stainsby, 9th February 2023, (suddenly) at his home, 44 Alexander House, Bishop Street. Beloved husband of Margaret, loving father of Joeanne, Jenny, Bryan and Reuben. Dear son of the late Joe and Theresa, brother of Paul, Bill, Faustina, Bernadette and the late Rosaire. Those wishing to pay their respect to Joe can do so at Carr Family Funeral Directors family room, 8 Abbey Park today (Saturday) from 2.00pm. Funeral from there on Sunday at 11.00am to Lakeland’s Crematorium, Co Cavan for cremation at 2.00pm. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him.
