The following deaths have occurred:-
Francis (Twinkle) Barbour, 10 Iona Park, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Francis (Twinkle) Barbour, (suddenly) on 10th August 2023. May he rest in peace. Lovingly remembered by his wife Isabel and children Kevin, Eoghan, Claire and the late Sean Harkin, his mother Sally and siblings Johnny, Cindy, Hugh, Kathleen and David. My God have mercy on his soul. Twinkle's remains will be reposing at his wife Isabel's residence, 10 Iona Park. His remains will leave from there on Sunday, 13th August at 4.45pm to arrive in St. Columba's Church, Longtower at 5.30pm to repose overnight. Twinkle's funeral Requiem Mass will then take place on Monday, 14th August at 12.00pm. Burial immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Rosemary Harte (née Quigley, Seacoast Road, Magilligan
The death has taken place of Rosemary Harte (née Quigley, 11th August 2023, (peacefully) at Ratheane Nursing Home and formerly of Beresford Avenue, Coleraine and Seacoast Road, Magilligan. Loving wife of the late Sonny (Henry) R.I.P. Beloved mother of Louise, mother-in-law of Michael, grandmother of Denise, Brian, and Vincent, great-grandmother of Celeb. Dear sister of the late Joseph, Aidan, Harry, Brian, and Billy. R.I.P. A much loved aunt of Kevin, James, Ann, Peter, Ken, Michael, Bernadette, and Brian. Wake will commence on Sunday at 10.00am. Family time from 9.00pm to 10.00am please. Funeral from her daughter Louise’s home, 20 Mountsandel Road, Coleraine on Tuesday at 10.05am for Requiem Mass in St Aidan’s church Magilligan at 11.00am followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Kathleen McDaid (née Gallen), 942 Rockmount Gardens, Articlave
The death has occurred of Kathleen McDaid (née Gallen), 11th August 2023, beloved wife of David and loving mother of Angela and Tina. Much loved sister of Bridget, Paddy, Ann and the late Peter. Devoted grandmother of Aaron, Gareth, Jill, Jamie and Corey. Funeral from her home, 942 Rockmount Gardens, BT51 4UU on Sunday, 13th August at 12.30pm to Mary’s Church Dunboe for 1.00pm Requiem Mass. The death has taken place of Mary (Marion) Elizabeth McNabb, 10th August 2023, (peacefully) at home, 559 Fairview Park, Articlave. Mary (Marion) Elizabeth, much loved mother of Audrey, Florence, William & Simon; precious grandmother of Emma, Rae, Zara, Julie and Symone; great-grandmother of Matthew, Katie, Jasper, Jessica, Shea, Lacey, Isaac and Evie. Funeral Service in her home on Sunday at 2.15pm, followed by interment in First Dunboe Presbyterian Churchyard. Family flowers only. Late of 87 Curragh Lane, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late Joe R.I.P and loving mother of Dympna O’Connor (Joe), Tish Deighen (Paul), and Paddy (Denise). Devoted grandmother of Kevin, Sinead, P.J, Sean, Michael, Shéa, Rory, Amy, Hannah and Eva-Jo. Daughter of the late James and Lizzie Toal R.I.P. Toomebridge and dear sister of Annie Gribbon and the late Barney, Mary Dowd, Harry, Chris, John and Seamus R.I.P. Deeply regretted by loving sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle. Reposing at her late home. Family time please 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral on Sunday, 13th August leaving her late home at 1.20pm for 2.00pm Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. The death has taken place of Philip Murray, 11th August 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 58 Shackleton Crescent, Ballykelly. Loving father of Sam and Rosemary. Son of the late Samuel and Florence. Dear brother of Sidney, Elizabeth, and Samuel. The death has occurred of Gerry Quinn, 10th August 2023, beloved husband of the late Clare, 5 Temple Road, Maydown, loving father of Matthew, Helen, Owen and Breifne, and son-in-law of Sheelagh and Raymond Sharp.
