The following deaths have occurred:-
Ellen Kathleen (Kate) Bradley (née Henry), 1 Parkmore Gardens, Magherafelt
The death has taken place of Ellen Kathleen (Kate) Bradley (née Henry), 16th December 2022, (peacefully) at Magherafelt Manor Nursing Home, dearly loved Wife of Jim, 1 Parkmore Gardens, Magherafelt, much loved mother of Bobby and the late George, loving mother-in-law of Irene, devoted granny of Diane and Mark, great gran of Ethan, Joel, Erin and Grace and dearest sister of Jim, Sam, George, Nancy, Jean, Margaret and the late Harry, Bobby and Charlie. House strictly private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore, on Saturday evening (17th December) from 7.00pm - 8.30pm. Funeral service in First Magherafelt Presbyterian Church on Sunday, 18th December at 2.30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Cancer Research, payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP. Lovingly remembered by her sorrowing Husband, Family and Family Circle. Worthy of everlasting remembrance.
Robert (Bobby) Holmes, 24 Primity Terrace, Newbuildings
The death has taken place of Robert (Bobby) Holmes, 15th December 2022, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Bernie, a loving father of Mark, Gail and Ryan and a devoted grandfather. A much-loved brother of Pearl, Lorraine and the late Sonny. A funeral service will take place in his late home, 24 Primity Terrace, Newbuildings on Sunday, 18th December at 12.30pm followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished to Alzheimer’s Society c/o Sevenoaks, Crescent Link, Derry, BT47 6AL. Bobby will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and friends. The Lord is my Shepherd.
Joseph (Joe) McLaughlin, 50 Lisfannon Park, Derry
The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) McLaughlin, 16th December 2022, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, late of 50 Lisfannon Park, beloved son of the late Michael and Eileen, loving brother of Hugh, Betty, Sr. Michael and the late Mickey, Kathleen, Di, Willie, Eddie, Thomas and Mary. Funeral leaving his sister's home, 37 Slievemore Park on Sunday, 18th December at 11.30am to St. Mary's Church, Creggan for Funeral Mass at 12.15pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. House private from 9.00pm to 12.00noon. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
Davy Nicholl, Drumreighland
The death has taken place of Davy Nicholl, 15th December 2022, (peacefully) passed away at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, late of Drumreighland. Much loved husband of Olive, loving father of Viola, Yvonne and the late David, devoted grandfather of Mark and Emma, also a dear Brother. Funeral leaving his Nephew Dan Nicholl home, 7 Dromore Avenue, Limavady on Sunday at 1.00pm for service in Ballykelly Presbyterian Church at 2.00pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. (Friends and family welcome at Dan's home) Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to Ballykelly Presbyterian Church and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo ind. Est. Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his entire family circle.
