The following deaths have occurred:-
Agnes Campbell, 28 Iniscairn Crescent, Derry
The death has taken place of Agnes Campbell, 21st September 2023, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital R.I.P. After a short illness. Beloved partner of Liam, loving mother of Pauline, Donna, Paul, Jacqueline, Brian, Neil, and Stephen , a dear mother-in-law and a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral leaving her home, 28 Iniscairn Crescent at 1.00pm on Sunday 24th September for 1.30pm Funeral mass in St Mary's Chapel Creggan followed by burial in the City Cemetery. Family time only please on Sunday morning. Deeply regretted by her loving family circle. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Rosemary McCallion (née Collins), 45 Liscloon Drive, Shantallow, Derry
The death has occurred of Rosemary McCallion (née Collins), 22nd September 2023, beloved wife of the late George, 45 Liscloon Drive, Shantallow, loving mother of James, Joseph, Edward and Annmarie, devoted grandmother of Shannon, Kirstie, Chloe, Leah, Oisin, Madison, Caomhan, Emily and Anna and dear sister of Frankie and the late Bridie, Ellen and Chrissie. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Sunday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Edward (Eddie) Nixon, 5 Meadowview Crescent, Derry
Edward (Eddie) Nixon, 22nd September 2023, peacefully, beloved partner of Margaret Floyd, loving son of the late John and Cecilia, dear and loving brother of Raymond, Philip, Pauline, Dolores, Attracta and the late June, Pat, Celine, John, Paul and Gerald and a cherished uncle of Chris and all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Funeral leaving his home, 5 Meadowview Crescent on Monday, 25th September at 9.20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
Elizabeth Stevenson (Betty) Rosborough, 503 Glenshane Road, Claudy
The death has taken place of Elizabeth Stevenson (Betty) Rosborough, 21st September 2023, suddenly at home, 503 Glenshane Road, Claudy. Beloved sister of Maud, Essie, Alda, Joe and Tommy. Funeral leaving her home at 1.00pm on Monday, 25th September for 1.30pm Service in Banagher Presbyterian church followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if wished, to Banagher Presbyterian Church c/o Mr Douglas Scott 502 Glenshane Road BT47 4BT. Friends and family welcome to Adair and Neely Funeral home on Saturday between 5.00pm and 7.00pm then at the family home on Sunday from 6.00pm. Deeply regretted by her loving family circle.
