Robert Campbell, Bond's Place, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Robert Campbell, 23rd August 2024, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, late of Bond’s Place, beloved son of the late Eddie and Bridget, dear brother of the late Maggie, Bridie, Annie, Edward, Willie, Molly and Shiela and a much loved uncle. His remains will be removed from W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU on Saturday at 4.30pm to St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, for funeral Mass on Sunday at 10,00am. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Ivan Dougherty, 41 Edenreagh Road, Eglinton
We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Ivan Dougherty, 23rd August 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Sadie, 41 Edenreagh Road, Eglinton, loving father of Wesley, Alan and Ivan, devoted grandfather of Lilybeth and Reuben and dear brother of Robert and the late Emma, Willie, Jack, Albert, May, Maud and Valerie. House private please. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Saturday from 5.00pm - 8.00pm. Funeral service will take place in St Canice’s Church, Eglinton on Sunday at 2.30pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Maureen Friel (née McAlary), 38 William Street, Derry
Funeral arrangements for the late Maureen Friel (née McAlary), died 23rd August 2024, peacefully at hospital Maureen R.I.P. wife of the late Eddie; loving mother of Denver, Tracy (Gribbon) and Cathy (McFall); dear mother-in-law of Sharon, Patrick and Martin and much adored Granny of Carla, Marc, Dermot, Kealan, Cait, Dara, Aimee and Orla. Daughter of the late Barney and Mary and dear sister of Peggy and the late Brendan and Kathleen. Family time 10.00pm -10.00am. Funeral from her late residence, 38 William Street, on Sunday at 10:15am for 11o’clock Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Bellaghy. (Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam https://bellaghyparish.com/webcam/) Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Divine Mercy of Jesus pray for her. Mary Gormley (née Smith), 11 Mullintill Road, Stranagalwilly, Claudy
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Mary Gormley (née Smith), peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on 22nd August 2024. May she rest in peace. Late of 11 Mullintill Road, Stranagalwilly, Claudy, Co Derry, BT47 4JN. Beloved wife of the late Willie R.I.P and loving mother of Liam (Frances), Gabrielle (Gerard), Briege (Rob) and Conal (Gemma). Devoted grandmother of Róisín, Orlagh, Nuala, Grace, Alannah and Finn, and great grandmother of Saorlaith, Clodagh and Tiarnán. Dear sister of Rosaleen, Monica, Seamus and Frank. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Reposing at her late home. Family time 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral leaving her late home on Sunday, 25th August at 12:15pm for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, Craigbane. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining graveyard.
