Roland (Roly) Brown, 101 Westland Road, Magherafelt
The death has taken place of Roland (Roly) Brown, 25th January 2024, (peacefully) at his home, 101 Westland Road, Magherafelt, in his 96th year, dearly beloved husband of the late Maureen, much loved father of Miranda and the late Lisa, dearest father-in-law of Malcolm, loving grandad of Eden and Ellis and also a dear brother. House private (family and close friends welcome from Saturday, 27th January). Funeral service in Union Road Presbyterian Church on Sunday, 28th January at 2.30pm followed by burial in Polepatrick Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Billy Buchanan, Whispering Pines, Limavady
The death has taken place of Billy Buchanan, passed away peacefully at his own home, Whispering Pines, Limavady. Much loved husband of the late Nan. Loving father of Irvine, Fiona and Derek. Dear Father in law of Rhonda, Pete and Zara, devoted grandfather of Danielle and David also a dear Brother and Uncle. House strictly private. Isobel ( Shirley) McFarland, Limavady
The death has occurred of the late Isobel ( Shirley) McFarland, passed away peacefully in Oakleaves Care Centre. Much loved daughter of Sammy and Mary Anne. Dear sister to Derek the late Robin, Alymer and Leslie. Sister in law of Valerie and Gladys. Remembered aunt and good friend of Alec, Alison King and family. Edward (Eddie) McLaughlin, 6 Dunsuivnish Grange, Portstewart
The death has taken place of the late Edward (Eddie) McLaughlin, 25th January 2024, (peacefully) at hospital, 6 Dunsuivnish Grange, Portstewart, dearly beloved husband of the late Rose, loving father of Siobhan, Emma, Kirsty and Teresa, a dear father-in-law and grandfather, loving brother of Annie and Rita and a much loved uncle. Requiem mass in St. Mary’s Star Of The Sea, Portstewart on Monday at 12.00noon followed by interment in Agherton Cemetery. The death has taken place of Muriel Scott (née Scott), 26th January 2024, (peacefully) at Magherafelt Manor Nursing Home, (in her 88th year), dearly loved Wife of the late Geordie, 3 Oakvale Terrace, Culnady, much loved Mother of Anne, William and Gillian, a dear Mother-in-Law of Chester, Pat and Geoff, devoted Nana of Gregg, Dawn, Paul, Kyle, Glenn and Lewis, Great Nana of Jake and Faith and dearest Sister of the late Gerald and Beth. Tony Wade, Rathowen Park, Creggan, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Tony Wade, 25th January 2024, formerly of Rathowen Park, Creggan, loving father of Christine, Linda, Anthony and Shane, much loved grandfather of Mya, Bobby, Noah and Jaxon, husband of Angela and dear brother of Thomas, Billy, Daniel, Martin, Brian and the late Helena, John, Patrick and Paul. His remains will be reposing in his daughter’s home, 21 Iniscarn Crescent, Creggan on Saturday from 12noon - 8.00pm. Funeral from there on Sunday at 12.50pm for 1.15pm funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Ethan James White, Derry
The death has taken place of Ethan James White, age 22, peacefully at his home on 23rd January 2024. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 31st January at Antrim & Newtownabbey Crematorium, 582 Doagh Road, Newtownabbey BT36 5RZ at 2.00pm.
