The death has taken place of the late Ina Elizabeth Bratton, 4th September 2024, (peacefully) at hospital, 26 Agherton Drive, Portstewart, dearly loved wife of Edward (Eddie), loving mother of Tanya, Julienné, Terence and Zoë, mother-in-law of Tom, Gary, Emer and Wes, devoted grandmother of Jordan, Torin, Andrew, Victoria and her husband Matthew, Conor and Niamh and great grandmother of Maggie. Service in Burnside Presbyterian Church Portstewart on Sunday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. House Private, family and close friends only please (Saturday 12.00noon to 8.00pm). Family flowers only please. Margaret (Peggy) Doherty, 13 Sheelin Park, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Margaret (Peggy) Doherty, 6th September 2024, peacefully at Foyle Hospital, beloved daughter of the late William (Windmill) and Margaret (Maggie), cherished sister of the late Lily Horton, Teresa Saunders and Willie Doherty, a much loved godmother, auntie and friend. Peggy will be reposing at her home, 13 Sheelin Park. Funeral leaving her home on Sunday, 8th September at 10:20am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
William (Bill) Harley, 524 Carnhill, Derry
The death has occurred of the late William (Bill) Harley, 5th September 2024, peacefully at his home 524 Carnhill, beloved husband of May, loving father of Roisin, Deirdre, Bill, Fiona, Michael, Eamonn and the late Máire and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather and father-in-law, cherished brother of Michael, Joe and the late Charlie, Seamus, Sally and May. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Bill will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Eileen Hegarty, 28 Rosemount Gardens, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Eileen Hegarty, 5th September 2024, peacefully at Edenballymore Care Home, (late of 28 Rosemount Gardens), beloved daughter of the late James and Elizabeth, cherished sister of Patricia, Catherine and the late John, Jim and Laurence, loving aunt of Paul, John and Stephen. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Eileen will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, 7th September from 12:00noon to 2:00pm and Sunday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. John (Hen) McDaid, 15 Yeats Court, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of John (Hen) McDaid, peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on 5th September 2024. Late of 15 Yeats Court and formerly of 77 Central Drive. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Jackie. Devoted father of Shaunpaul, Gerard and Kaleigh. A much loved father-in-law of Ann and Kieran. Loving granda of Eoin, Ella, Laila, Faye, Noah and Caelem. Dearest brother to all of his brothers and sisters. A dear uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Hen’s remains are now reposing at his late residence, 15 Yeats Court. Funeral leaving from there on Sunday, 8th September at 12:50pm for 1:30pm Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty.
