Patrick (Pat) Campbell, 4 Carrickreagh Gardens, Creggan, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Patrick (Pat) Campbell, 13th April 2024, husband of Rose and loving brother of Billy, Charlie, Elizabeth, Cecilia, Matt and the late Johnnie, David and Danny. His remains will be reposing in his home, 4 Carrickreagh Gardens, Creggan. Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Arthur Doherty, 17 The Village Green, Ardmore
The death has taken place of Arthur Doherty, 12th April 2024, beloved husband of Dolores, 17 The Village Green, Ardmore, loving father of Ciaran and Deirdre, father-in-law of Lynn, devoted grandfather of Ciara, Ronan and Molly and dear brother of Michael and the late Patrick, Elizabeth, Geraldine and Martha-Frances. Arthur will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Monday at 11.00am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Ardmore. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. James (Jim) Ferguson, 3 St Johns Park, Derry
The death has occurred of the late James (Jim) Ferguson, 12th April 2024, beloved husband of the late Anne, 3 St Johns Park, loving father of Paul, Aine, Claire, Brian and the late Bernadette, father-in-law of Eileen, Andrew and Brian and a much loved grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. His remains will be reposing in his home from 12noon - 8.00pm on Sunday. Funeral from there on Monday at 12.30pm for 1o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Mary McCartney (née Doyle), Ballymaguigan
The death has occurred of the late Mary McCartney (née Doyle) (Ballymaguigan), 13th April 2024, beloved wife of the late Paddy and loving mother of Anne Marie (Costello) and Sean, sister of the late Sara (Lavery), John and Hughie. Funeral from her daughter’s home, 43a Waterfoot Road, on Monday, 15th April at 10.15am for 11.00am Mass in Church of St Trea Newbridge, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing son, daughter, son in law Seamus, daughter in law Caroline, grandchildren Shona, Matthew, Jack, Emma and Ronan, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
Mary (Maureen) McCloskey (née Walsh), 10 Dunsuivnish Park, Portstewart
The death has taken place of Mary (Maureen) McCloskey (née Walsh), 13th April 2024, died peacefully at home, 10 Dunsuivnish Park, Portstewart, and formerly of Trench Park, Belfast. Dearly loved mother of Brian, Teresa, Paul and Barry, a much-loved mother-in-law and grandmother; and dear sister of the late Ann. Funeral arrangements later. Laurence (Lornie) McMonagle, 91 Carnhill, Derry
The death has taken place of Laurence (Lornie) McMonagle, 12th april 2024, at North West Cancer Centre. Beloved partner of Joy. Beloved son of the late Charlie and Mona. Dear Brother of John, Charlie, Betty, Eileen, Monica, Veronica, Marian, Geraldine, Collette, Sheila, Martin and the late Jim and Neil. Stepfather of David, Karen, Gary, Zoe and Emma-Joe. A much loved Grandfather. A loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Funeral from his home, 91 Carnhill on Monday at 11.20am to St Brigid's Church, Carnhill for Requiem mass at 12noon. Sandra Elizabeth Skeggs, 40 Blackburn Crescent, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Sandra Elizabeth Skeggs, 12th April 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin hospital, beloved wife of Victor loving mother of Alistair, Emma and the late Alison, a dear mother in law and devoted grandmother of Bobby, Brihana, Aliya, Portia and Faith. Funeral Service in the family home, 40 Blackburn Crescent at 1.00pm on Monday, 15th April followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Alzheimers Society c/o suite 2 first floor East Wing, Plumtree House Plymouth, PL6 5FS. Deeply regretted by her loving family circle. Bertie Williams, formerly of Quarry Street, Derry
The death has taken place of Bertie Williams, 12th. April 2024, peacefully at Ardlough Care Home, (formerly of Quarry Street), loving father of Leo and Karen, dear father-in-law of Claudine, devoted grandfather of Emma, Abbie, Eoghan and Kealan, cherished uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Bertie will be reposing at his son Leo’s home, 8 Norburgh Park on Sunday from 12noon to 10.00pm. Funeral leaving, 8 Norburgh Park on Monday, 15th April at 10.50am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
