Tim Connelly, 41 Kingsfort Park, Derry
The death has occurred of Tim Connelly, 14th June 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry, beloved husband of the late Nance, loving father of Tony, Maeve and the late Stephen, devoted grandfather of Aoibhinn, Roisin, Matteo, Jack, Felix and Jamie, dear father-in-law to Simon and Rikke, cherished brother of Mary Frances and the late Matt, Nellie, Jack and Mick.Tim will be reposing at his home, 41 Kingsfort Park, Derry, on Sunday from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Monday, 17th June at 1:20pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn, Derry, for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
Vincent Deery, 41 Mallory Park, Eglinton
The death has taken place of the late Vincent Deery, 15th June 2024, peacefully at Owenmor Care Home, beloved husband of Maureen, loving father of Rose-Marie, Patrick, Philip, Brendan, Cathal, Adrian and Kellie, father-in-law of Robert, Mandy, Sharon, Suzanne, Monica and Paula, a much loved grandfather and dear brother of Gerry, Bernadette and the late Paddy, Michael, James, Philip, Brendan, Frank, Kathleen and Mary. His remains will be reposing in his home, 41 Mallory Park, Eglinton on Sunday from 2.00pm – 9.00pm and Monday from 12noon – 4.00pm and 6.00pm – 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.25am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Scared Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Jean Finch (née McShane), Ontaruo (formerly of Creggan, Derry)
It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Jean Finch (née McShane), on 11th June 2024 in Pickering, Ontario and formerly from Leenan Gardens, Creggan, Derry. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Loving mother of Debbie and the late Michael. A much loved Mother in law and Grandmother. Beloved daughter of the late Lala and Phil Mc Shane. Dear sister of Willie, Betty, Leonard and the late Bella, Daisy, Georgie, John James, Phil, Thomas, Kathleen, Teresa, Mary and Brendan - Martin. May She Rest In Peace.
Dillon (DJ) Quigley, 7 Dove Gardens, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Dillon (DJ) Quigley, 14th June 2024, late of 7 Dove Gardens. Beloved son of Denise. Loving daddy of Ellie-Mae and Sophia. A much loved nephew and cousin. Dillon will be reposing at his home. Funeral from his home on Monday at 9.20am to St Columba's Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
