The following deaths have occurred:-
Jim Costello, 103 Tirkane Road, Maghera
The death has taken place of Jim Costello (Maghera), 18th November 2023, formerly Doone Straw, son of the late Jim and Kathleen and dear brother of Sally, Noelle, Philomena, Bernie, Vera, Tilly and the late John (Wales), Kathleen (USA). Funeral from his home, 103 Tirkane Road, Maghera (Carrowmenagh) on Monday, 20th November at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Mary Maghera. Interment afterwards in Cemetery at Church of St Columba’s Straw. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
Sheelagh Fullerton, Kerr Street, Portrush
The death has taken place of Sheelagh Fullerton, 17th November 2023, (peacefully at hospital), Kerr Street, Portrush. Dearly loved wife of the late George, loving mother of Jane, William and Lisa, and a much loved mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister. Funeral arrangements later.
Nora (Nonie) Gallagher (nèe McAuley), 10 Richmond Crescent, Derry
The death has taken place of Nora (Nonie) Gallagher (nèe McAuley), 18th November 2023, peacefully at home, 10 Richmond Crescent, beloved wife of the late Liam, loving mother of John, Anne, Frank and Stephen, a much loved mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of the late Marie, Brian and Frank. Deeply regretted by all her extended family and friends. Her remains will be reposing in her home on Sunday and Monday from 2.00pm – 10.00pm. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to St Vincent de Paul. All for thee O Sacred Heart of Jesus, all for thee.
Henry Okroy, 10 Stonard Street, Moneymore
The death has taken place of Henry Okroy, 10th November 2023, suddenly at home, 10 Stonard Street, Moneymore. Loving partner of Mary, much loved grandfather of Molly, Freya, Zara-Rose, Lacey-Mai, Danny, Maci, Arrie, Finn, and Lochlann. Committal in Polepatrick Cemetery, Magherafelt on Monday at 1.00pm. Will be lovingly remembered by his partner, grandchildren and wider family circle. ‘Rest in Peace’
Grace Orr, Limavady
The death has occurred of the late Grace Orr, 17th November, passed away peacefully at her late home. Much loved wife of Edwin. Loving Mother of John and Allan. Dear mother in law of Anne-Marie, and Lisa. Devoted Grandmother of Scott, Lucas and Finn. House strictly private. Funeral service will be held in Brown's funeral Home on Tuesday, 21st November at 10.30am. The death has taken place of Robin Simpson, passed away peacefully on 18th November 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family, 1 Rossview Drive, Limavady. Much loved partner of Theresa, dear father of Lisa (Allan), Kelly (Steven), Richard (Rachel), Robyn Marie (Evan), Aaron (Lauren), Devoted grandfather of Billy-Jean, Katie, Farah, Kai, Reece, Ezmae, Bobby, Alfie, Mason, Ella-mae, also a dear brother of Charlie, John, Mary, David and the late Ann. Dear Uncle and friend.
Wake to commence from 4.00pm on Sunday. Funeral service will be held in his late home on Tuesday at 10.30am for burial in Enagh Cemetery at 11.00am.
