Obituaries
The following deaths have occurred:-
Sheila Colhoun, 17 Allingham Close, Derry
The death has taken place of Sheila Colhoun, 21st April 2023, (suddenly) at her home, 17 Allingham Close, (formerly of 56 Carrickreagh Gardens), beloved mother of Amanda, Elaine and Lee, loving grandmother of Ellie, Brooke, JJ, Brodie, Millicent and Georgie, dear sister of Gerard, Pat, Sandra, Jacqueline, Angela and Carolann, and a dear and loving mother-in-law and aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle and her many friends. Funeral leaving her home on Monday, 24th April at 9.20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
Martin Foy, 53 Belmont Crescent, Derry
The death has taken place of Martin Foy, 21st April 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of Una, 53 Belmont Crescent, loving father of Gavin, Aine, Emer and the late Una, father-in-law of Alan and Josie, much loved granda of Martin, Eunan, Ryan and Darragh and a dear brother and uncle. Funeral from his home on Monday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The Mass can be viewed via the church webcam. Family time please from 9.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
