The death has occurred of William Henry Arbuthnot, 1st July 2023, (peacefully) at The Causeway Hospital, (in his 88th year), dearly loved Husband of Myrtle, 4 Culnady Road, Upperlands, much loved Father of Bill, Gordon, Michael, Arlene and Arnold, a dear Father-in-Law, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and dearest Brother of Jean, Evelyn, Tommy, Elizabeth, Aubrey and the late Stanley. William (Billy) Cochrane, Coleraine
The death hss taken place of William (Billy) Cochrane, 1st July 2023, at Causeway Hospital. Dearest son of the late Dan and Isa, loving brother of Alan, David and Richard; brother-in-law of Vivian, Janette and Margaret; and a much loved uncle. House private. Funeral Service in Dunluce Parish Church on Wednesday at 2.00pm, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only. Loving wife of the late James, loving mum of Michael and Susan, treasured granny of Simon, Emma, Andrew, James and Kathryn. House private. Julie Harkin (née Shearring), Derry
The death has taken place of Julie Harkin (née Shearring), 18th June 2023, in Markse by the Sea, Redcar (formally of Creggan Heights). Daughter of the late Pam Nicell. Loving sister of Linda, Terry, John, Tony, Declan, Leigh and Liam. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome at her brother John's home, 6 Ramore Gardens, Creggan on Monday, 3rd July from 6.00pm. Requiem Mass will take place in St Mary's Church, Creggan on Tuesday, 4th July at 10.00am. Interment of ashes afterwards in the City Cemetery. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all her family. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on her soul. Our lady of knock pray for her.
Annie O'Connor, 8 Dernaflaw Cottages, Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Annie O’Connor (peacefully) at Rush Hall Care Home on 1st July2023. May she rest in peace. Late of 8 Dernaflaw Cottages, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved daughter of the late Susan and Patrick R.I.P and dear sister of the late Pat and Brendan R.I.P. Loving aunt of Susan, Patrick, Anna Marie, Martin, Brendan, Joseph, Rosemary, Peter and the late Rose Ellen. R.I.P. You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven BT47 4NQ) from 5.00pm to 8.00pm on Sunday, 2nd July. Removal from the funeral home at 8.00pm to repose in St Patrick’s Church , Dungiven. Requiem Mass will take place there on Monday, 3rd of July at 10.00am. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.
James (Jimmy) Peden, 258 Drumcroone Road, Coleraine
The death has taken place of James Peden (Coleraine), 30th June 2023, (suddenly but peacefully) at hospital, beloved husband of Dorothy (née Doherty); loving father of Cindy (Nevin), Wendy (Acheson), Jillian (Brown) and William Lee; father-in-law of Clifford, James, Alan and Lyndsey; much adored Grandad of Lois, Zoe, Kirstie, Travis, Jane, Bradley, Jamie-Lee and Ruby and great grandad of Nevaeh. Family time 10.00pm to 11.00am please. Funeral from his late residence, 258 Drumcroone Road, on Monday at 1 15pm for 2.00pm Requiem Mass in St. John’s Church, Coleraine.
