Lily Boyce, 30 Gorran Road, Garvagh
The death has taken place of Lily Boyce, 30th December 2023, peacefully, at her home, 30 Gorran Road, Garvagh, dearly beloved wife of the late Billy, much loved mother of Geoffrey and Russell, dear mother-in-law of Denise and devoted grandmother of David, Sam, Rachel and Andrew. Service at her home on Wednesday at 11.00am followed by interment in Main Street Presbyterian Churchyard. House private. Family flowers only please. Helen Margaret Corner, 15 Clagan Park, Aghadowey
The death has taken place of Helen Margaret Corner, 30th December 2023, peacefully, at her home, 15 Clagan Park, Aghadowey, dearly beloved wife of John, much loved mother of Julie-Anne and Carol, dear mother-in-law of Donal and Graham and precious grandmother of Emily, Noah and Cara. Andrea Diamond (née Gilmore), 11a Glenvale Road, Bellaghy
The death has taken place of Andrea Diamond (née Gilmore), 30th December 2023 (peacefully at hospital), 11a Glenvale Road, Bellaghy, beloved wife of Philip, much loved mother of Dylan, Molly, Kelsi, Leah, Kevin and Laura and loving sister of Margaret, Stuart, Caroline and Devina. Andrea’s wake and funeral arrangements have not yet been finalised, we will update them here as soon as they become available. NB: Family time requested please between 10.00pm and 11.00am. Brian Doherty, 12 Foyleview Park, Greysteel
The death has taken place of Brian Doherty, 29th December 2023, peacefully at home, beloved son of the late William and Sarah, dearly loved brother of Anne and the late Sr. Susan, Josephine, Kathleen, Sarah and James, brother-in-law of Gerry and Joe and a very caring and loving uncle and great-uncle. His remains will be reposing in his home, 12 Foyleview Park, Greysteel from 12.00pm to 6.00pm on Sunday. House private at all other times. Funeral from there on Monday at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Terence Doherty, 4 Eden Square, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Terence Doherty, 27th December 2023, suddenly at his home, (late of 4 Eden Square), loving father of Darren, beloved son of the late Terry and Bebe, loving brother of Clare, Darren and Sarah, devoted uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Terence will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 12noon to 2.00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Monday, 1st January at 11.20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Lenny Gordon, Derry
The death has taken place of Lenny Gordon, 29th December 2023, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, beloved husband of Caroline, loving father of Teresa and Thomas, devoted grandfather to Ella and Aiden, dear son of the late Harry and Ida and a dear and loving brother and uncle. Stanley George Hartley, 'Haven', 53 Cookstown Road, Moneymore
The death has occurred of the late Stanley George Hartley, 30th December 2023, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, (aged 93 years), dearly loved Husband of Dorothy, 'Haven', 53 Cookstown Road, Moneymore, much loved Father of Stephen and Sharon, loving Father-in-Law of Allan, dearest Brother of Fergus (New Zealand), Mervyn and the late Sheila, Margaret and Sammy, a dear Brother-in-Law of Margaret, Connie, Valerie, Colin and the late Heather and a beloved Uncle. House strictly private. Funeral service in his home on Monday, 1st January 2024, commencing at 1.00pm, followed by burial in First Moneymore Presbyterian Churchyard at 2.00pm (approx.). The death has taken place of Elizabeth Hynds, passed away peacefully at her home, 29 Bonnanaboigh, Dungiven, surrounded by her loving family on 29th December 2023. Much loved wife of the late Robert John, loving Mother of Robert, William, Hilda, Kay, Valerie and Sylvia, also a loving Mother in law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Funeral service will be held in Bovevagh Presbyterian Church on Monday, 1st January at 11.00am followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. All welcome to call at the family home and funeral. Margaret formerly of Upper Newmills Road, Coleraine, Dearly beloved wife of the late Alec, much loved mother of Desmond, Robert and the late David, Margaret and James, a devoted grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Service in Murdock’s Funeral Home, 2A Windsor Avenue, Coleraine on Wednesday, 3rd January 2024 at 11.00am followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery, Portrush. John McCarthy, 6 Barry Street, Derry
The death has taken place of John McCarthy (Ex. Molins and MPE), at home on 30th December 2023, after a short illness bravely borne surrounded by his loving family, loving husband of Eileen, father of Christine, Mary and Patricia, grandfather and great-grandfather. Brother of the late Michael (Cork). Sadly missed by the wider family circle. Thomas McFadden, 22 Fern Park, Derry
The death has taken place of Thomas McFadden, 28th December 2023, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast (late of 22 Fern Park). Loving father of Thomas and Sean. Stepfather of Michelle and Jeffery. Beloved son of the late Thomas and Maura. Dear brother of John, Roisin, Sinead, Caoimhe and the Late Sean. Funeral from his sister Roisin's home, 84 Alcar park on Monday at 11.50am to St Joseph's Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. James Columba (Colm) Mullan, Berkley California (formerly of Forge Road, Ardmore)
The death has occurred of the late James Columba (Colm) Mullan, 28th December 2023, in Berkley California, after a short illness, formerly of Forge Road, Ardmore Co Derry and Fohera Ballinamore Co Leitrim. He is survived by Catherine Rose Crowthrer his loving and supportive companion, his brothers, Denis, Michael, Thomas, Daniel and sisters Mary (Bradley), Una (Mc Barron).
