The following deaths have occurred:-
James Coyle, 9 St Canice’s Close, Eglinton
The death has occurred of James Coyle, 3rd November 2023, beloved husband of Helen, loving father of Susan, Sharon, Matthew, Doug and Joseph, a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather and dear brother of Rosie, Leonard, Annie, Jenie, Joe, Susie, Marie and the late John, Paddy, Tommy and Gerard. His remains will be reposing in his home, 9 St Canice’s Close, Eglinton. Funeral from there on Monday at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Iona Craig, 1 Rosslyn Close, Limavady
The death has taken place of Iona Craig, passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital on 3rd November 2023. Late of 1 Rosslyn Close, Limavady. Much loved wife of Markie, loving mother of Neil, Alastair, Joanna, Dear Mother in law of Sally, Gillian and Keith. Devoted grandmother of Nicole, Amy, Jack, Ben, Jamie and Hannah. Great Grandmother of Elliott. Dear sister of O'Dessa, Marlene, Lexie. Funeral leaving her late home on Monday at 1.00pm for service in Banagher Parish Church at 2.00pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Rosella Crilly (née Convery), 160 Glen Road, Maghera
The death has taken place of Rosella Crilly (née Convery) (Maghera), 3rd November 2023, beloved wife of Niall and loving mother of Adrian, Diane (Dunning), Jacqueline and Caroline, sister of Joe, Kate (Doherty), Pat, Danny, Thomas and the late Anthony, Helen (Clarke), Sean and infant James. Funeral from her home, 160 Glen Road, on Monday, 6th November at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Patrick Glen, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, son, daughters, son in law Brian, daughter in law Katrina, grandchildren Courtney, Caelan, Taylor, Shane and Jack, brothers, sister, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. Margaret McConomy (née Ward), 11 Tivoli Park, Foyle Springs, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Margaret McConomy (née Ward), 4th November 2023, beloved wife of Tony, 11 Tivoli Park, Foyle Springs, loving mother of Ursula, Colette and Anthony, devoted grandmother of Cathal and Daniel, great-grandmother of Daíre and a dear and loving sister of Josephine (USA) , Bernie, Marie, John, Brian, Gerald, Martin, Veronica, Angela and the late Patricia. Sadly missed by her entire family circle. Her remains will be reposing in her home on Sunday from 12noon - 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Patsy McEldowney, 36 Cloane Road, Moneynena, Draperstown
The death has taken place of Patsy McEldowney, (Cloane, Draperstown), 4th November 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, dearly beloved husband of the late Bridie (McCloskey) and loving father of Joanne (Kearns), Shauna (Lynn), Tracey (McCullagh) and Gerald., dear brother of Brigid (McGuigan), son of the late Bernard and Mary Ann and brother of the late Michael, Charles, Brian, Cassie (McKenna) and Rose (McCloskey). Funeral on Monday, 6th November 2023 from his late residence, 36 Cloane Road, Moneynena, Draperstown at 10.15am for 11o'clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Church, Moneynena. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Very deeply regretted by his loving daughters, son, sons-in-law, Edward, Dominic and Dermot, grandchildren, Sister, brother-in-law Arthur, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces and extended family circle. Bernadette (Bernie) McKinney, 7 Westland Crescent, Greysteel
The death has taken place of the late Bernadette (Bernie) McKinney, 4th November 2023, 7 Westland Crescent, Greysteel, loving mother of Dolan, Gary and Zara and a much loved mother-in-law, grandmother and sister. House private please. A private cremation will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale at a later date. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Michael (Cha) O’Hagan, 2C Abbey Park, Derry
The death has occurred of Michael (Cha) O’Hagan, 4th November 2023, at Altnagelvin Hospital. Loving father of Kellie, Damien, Michael, Séan and Shea. Son of the late Aly and Charlie (Formally of Lone Moor Road). Dear brother of Myles, Eileen, Sadie, Mary, Sean, Cathy, Michael (Skins) and the Late Charlie, Paddy, Brian, Alan, Martin and John Damien. Funeral from his home, 2C Abbey Park on Monday at 10.50am to St Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has taken place of Evelyn Walker (née Rea), 4th November 2023, peacefully at Templemoyle Care Home, Eglinton (surrounded with love in her 89th year formerly of 97 Lincoln Court, Waterside) dearly beloved wife of the late Wallace and a dear sister. Service of Thanksgiving in D. & R. Hay & Sons, Funeral Home, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ on Tuesday, 7th November at 12.30pm followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery.
